Dear Members of the Northern Kentucky Skating Family,
You will be getting this newsletter soon after our Spring Show which I know will be a huge success. I wanted to say a special thank you to Denise Simoni for all her hard work that allows us to put on such fantastic shows. We couldn’t do it with out her and all the other hard working volunteers. Thank you again for an outstanding show.
Summer is almost here so that means its time for the Club Picnic and General Members meeting. They will be on June 15th at the Crescent Springs Community Park located on Buttermilk Pike just before Collins. Please watch the bulletin board after the rink reopens in June for times and sign ups.
At the General Members meeting following the picnic we will have elections for Board members. We will have five openings this time, so please consider volunteering to be a Board Member. We have a great group who would welcome anyone willing to join us especially in our efforts to host SEGL next January. If you have any questions about what’s involved, please contact me or another Board member. There is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board for those interested in running.
Also at the meeting we will be telling you about our plans for SEGL. Hopefully we will have our committee chairs lined up by then. Our first order of business will be in getting the rink ready to host the competition. Be thinking about what time you have available to help. If you are interested in chairing a committee, please contact me. The committee chairs are going fast.
As always the Board welcomes your input or questions either at a meeting or to one of us directly. Our next meeting is on June 13th in the Donato’s Pizza Group Room located on Dixie Highway in Crestview Hills.
Hope to see you at the Club Picnic and General Members Meeting,
Clare Richart
